After bathing her, Jackson carried Serenity out of the water. He wrapped her in a dry towel, put her in her pajamas, and carried her to the bed.
Serenity was so tired that she slept the whole time. Jackson gazed down at her sleeping face, his fingers gently running through her long hair.
“Just let the lost memories be gone. Isn’t that good? Why do you have to get them back?” A cold voice rang out, but there was no response, only pure silence in the room.
“Serenity, please don’t get your memory back, okay? Just stay like this. Always.” Jackson’s movements were gentle, his murmur almost a gentle whisper.
Meanwhile, Serenity was still asleep, just like a sleeping princess.
The trade show was the next day, and Serenity wore the silver dress and ruby jewelry Jackson had picked out for her. She looked stunning after the stylist’s makeover. Even Serenity herself was stunned by her reflection in the mirror.
The stylist had decided on a light make–up look for her. Her features and appearance had not changed much before and after the makeup, but her overall aura had changed.
The peach–colored makeup added to her playfulness, and it reminded Serenity of her old self in university.
After putting on her high heels, Serenity and Jackson headed to the trade show.
“What if I embarrass you later? What should I do?” Serenity asked worriedly. Jackson was attending a big trade show. With his status, he would naturally get a lot of attention.
