Serenity quickly put the note in the side drawer as she stood up and walked to Jackson. “You’re done.”
“Hmm? What were you looking at?” Jackson asked.
“It’s nothing,” Serenity said. She took the towel from his hand and changed the subject, “Come closer. I’ll dry your hair.”
Jackson’s eyes flickered. “Okay,” He responded, smiling gently. Then, he bent forward, his eyes leveled with hers.
Serenity put the towel over Jackson’s head and began towel–drying his hair. Jackson peeked up at Serenity through his bangs, his eyes sparkling.
It reminded Serenity of the first time she had taken Jackson home. She had done the same thing to his wet hair after he had washed his hair. At that time, he had looked at her with cold indifference, but now, he looked at her with tenderness.
Lost in thought, Serenity seemed to be drowning in his gaze.
“Serenity,” Jackson muttered softly.

“I–I’m going to bath!” Serenity exclaimed and stuffed the towel into Jackson’s hand. Then, she grabbed her clothes and hurried into the bathroom, shutting the door behind her.
Seeing that Serenity was gone, Jackson’s eyes changed slightly. He casually put the towel away and walked over to where Serenity had been sitting earlier. Then, he opened the side drawer.
He found a note in the drawer and picked it up. It was a doctor’s name and contact information.
What was she… Was she looking at this? Was she going to see the psychiatrist and recover her memory through hypnosis?
Jackson knew about her conversation with the doctor in the hospital the other day. If she were to recover her memories related to Lucas through hypnosis…. Jackson’s thoughts came to a screeching halt, his eyes darkening at the inexplicable emotions that rose in him.
