frequently visits Dr. Lane for treatments and check–ups.

“Yesterday, she was even brought back by helicopter, and there’s a rumor circulating that she was

kidnapped.”

Mia?” she asked.

“It seems like that’s her name.”

inquired, “Are you saying that Mia often comes to see Connor?”

“Yeah, and it’s not just that. Dr. Lane takes exceptionally good care of her.

“He’s well–liked at the hospital, and I’ve never seen him show special attention to any woman before,
