Be Eaten Up with Love

We were just like a normal couple. Tangled and kissed in the car. In this moment,
I hoped the time could stop in this snug morning. No traps, no conspiracies, no
loves nor hates and no truth making pain on me that even made me could not
stay alive.
I tried my best and finally arrived at the office before 8:30 in the morning.
I met Wayne coincidently when I got on to the lift since he was inspecting
departments. He was standing right behind me in the crowded lift and talking new
project that launched recently with other senior executives.
"Mr. Gilbert, we have talked with the government about the demolition of the old
town on Jianning street. Our plan of new building project can be launched after
the demolition."
Old town on Jianning Street, that was where my uncle lives, wasn't it?
More accurately, it was the address of my home!
In that year, after the car accident of my parents, my home on Jianning Street
was left unused. Even though my father was a dignitary, he had never corrupted

My uncle's family moved to the apartment my parents left to me. From that

I didn't argue about that in all these years. After all, my uncle kept me for 10

I stood behind him in silent. The lift stopped at 50th floor.
I took my steps out when Wayne had got off the lift and turned left. I followed

In the company, we were just like strangers, pretending that we did not know
each other’s at all.
I started working immediately when I got to my desk.
At about 9 o'clock. There was an enthusiastic sound of greeting suddenly went
off in the quiet office.
" Ms. Hunter! Welcome back!"
" Ms. Hunter! Did you receive anything in Japan? Anything like a romance?"
I raised my head looked along the others' sights to the doorway. There was a
woman standing gracefully erect.
The first view went into my eyes was her “S" figure. She was in a lavender suit
that made her figure more alluring! Black curved hair was like a fall, looked a little
lazy and charming! The view of her back could enchant a bunch of people in one
second.
I lifted my lips and showed a meaningful smile.
The female employees of Wayne were really all beauties.

This Ms. Hunter left alone the others; her long legs could be played for a year!
I was calm in my mind. But I expression changed suddenly since I saw the face
of the woman clearly!
She was the woman who was holding Wayne in arms and kissing him in the
nightclub last night.
His fiancée in the future was working in the Secretary department in his
company.
My heart went down suddenly. My condition was like a burning fire was poured
on a pot of cold water.
"Enough, don't be garrulous anymore. I will give you guys wedding candies when
I'm engaged." Sally glanced at the people with a light smile. There was an
expression of happiness on her face.
" Is Ms. Hunter really going to marry Mr. Gilbert? Jesus! The most precious and
eligible bachelor will be occupied."
Girls in the office crowd around Sally and talked lively all together. Even though
they were telling congratulating words, their jealous expression was changing
differently.
"Ok, there were two new girls joined our department when I was not here these
day, Sarah and Lydia, right? I will buy a dinner for all of us as a greeting for you
two joining the big family of Secretary department!"
“ Of course we go since Ms. Hunter is buying..."

The whole morning passed in muddled.

I was not myself on working for the whole morning. I even made the most basic
mistake in translating.
I got back to my seat soullessly after I was rebuked by Sally.
The scene of her rebuking me with a harsh countenance suddenly appeared in
my mind.
" Lydia, the Secretary department is always an elite department under my
supervision. I don't want the reputation of the whole department ruined by the
only rat like you." She glanced at me contemptuously like she was looking at an
idiot.
I never expected that the elegant and graceful Sally could say something so
vicious like this.
There was a thousand miles difference between the appearance she made for
others and the acerb appearance now!
" I was just back to the company and heard a lot of rumors about you. University
girls are capable that can even make tricks by sleeping with men. I don't care
which director makes you here with hidden rules. Since you joined the company,
you are my people in the Secretary department. If you make stupid mistakes
again, I will report to Mr. Gilbert and fire you!"
